Steve Rohweder is the Vice President of Technology Development for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. based in Akron, Ohio. His organization is responsible for the innovation of new tire materials, product design and development capability, tire simulation tools and the integration of product and process solutions for the company’s consumer and commercial products manufactured around the world.
Steve has over 33 years’ experience with Goodyear and has worked in tire-vehicle dynamics, advanced testing development, passenger tire design, new product industrialization and product development. His leadership experience includes various roles at the Innovation Centers in Akron and Luxembourg as well as recently being the Technology Director for all new consumer tire products in North America.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois.
