Ahmet wins DOE Early Career Award

The Heavy Element and Separation Science groups are excited to announce that Ahmet Uysal is one of 73 successful scientists from across the nation to receive funding through the DOE Early Career Research Program. His successful proposal, “Mechanistic Understanding of Heavy Ion Adsorption, Chemistry, and Separations at Graphene Based 2D Materials Interfaces” will add a significant complementary dimension to our ongoing efforts in both actinide and separation sciences.
