The meeting will start with a presentation by Senior Immigration Specialist Tanja Rose, Argonne Human Resources. Rose will talk about visa and immigration issues concerning postdocs including: differences between visa and employment authorizations, changing visa status and green card application. The General Assembly Meeting will also include discussion about the Postdoctoral Society of Argonne’s upcoming events for 2013, including the postdoc research symposium, career fair and other social activities for the postdoc community.
