Director’s Fellowship Applications Now Being Accepted

Deadline for submission of all application materials is February 11, 2014.

In 2007, Argonne established the Director’s Fellowships to attract top scientific and engineering talent to the lab. Director’s Fellows show promise for leadership in their fields and make significant contributions to Argonne’s strategic mission through existing programs or by initiating new research areas. A Director’s Fellow is hired as an Argonne Scholar with full benefits and a competitive salary. Director’s Fellowships can be renewed annually for up to two years.

Applicants should visit http://www.anl.gov/science to review Argonne’s research programs. The Argonne Experts Guide may be helpful in finding a sponsor.

The 2014 Fellowship carries a stipend of $78,000 per annum. The Fellows, who will be competitively selected by a special fellowship committee, are given the opportunity to work with Argonne scientists and engineers in a research area of common interest.

To apply, review the Directors Fellowship Application Instructions. When ready to apply, navigate to the application page to upload your CV, graduate school transcripts and research proposal. Nomination memos from the Argonne sponsor and Letters of Recommendation should be sent via email directly to [email protected].

Questions should be directed to the Postdoctoral Program Coordinator, Dr. Kristene Henne at [email protected].
