Speed Networking Event January 22nd

Kick off 2015 the right way by meeting as many postdocs as possible in 60 minutes!

How it will work:

1. You will eat lunch.

2. Participants will pair up and each will be given 3-5 minutes to introduce themselves.

3. When the buzzer goes off, you move to the next person.

It’s that simple! Or, is it?

Networking can be scary–but it doesn’t have to be! What can you say about yourself and your work in 3-5 minutes? How do you capture the interest of your counterpart? How do you make sure you are listening as well as you are talking?

You can prepare to practice these skills by reviewing a few essentials:

Join us on Thursday, January 22nd in the APCF Building 446 (behind the APS and CNM) Auditorium. Lunch will be served by 11:45. Networking will begin shortly after noon.

RSVP by filling out this quick Google Form (so we can plan for space and food!)
