On June 23, 2016, Argonne National Laboratory hosted Dr. Elena Long, research physicist at University of New Hampshire, and an executive member of the APS ad hoc Committee on LGBT Issues, which published a report on “LGBT Climate in Physics”. Dr. Long presented that report to Argonne National Laboratory with personal commentary, and also provided time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
Dr. Long was introduced by ANL Deputy Laboratory Director for Operations and Chief Operations Officer Paul Kearns.
