In light of recent media attention, many people have ideas and opinions about the transgender movement. However, the true experience of being transgender is a personal one. Current and former Argonne employees will share their stories of being transgender, or of helping a transgender family member through their transition. Time will be allocated for questions and answers.

The international Transgender Day of Visibility is observed annually on March 31 and is dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide.
