Dear club members,
After long deliberation. And many meetings. The club has come to the conclusion that we will be adding a 107.2 PL to the 145.19 repeater. For the last few weeks I have been listening to the repeater on and off. And it seems that there is something that keeps bumping the repeater. The simplest solution is ti add a PL tone squelch. Since we are one of the last few remaining repeaters that don’t have a PL squelch it should be no big deal. Most all 2 meter radios built in the last 20 years has a PL tone generator built in. So not having PL in a radio shouldn’t be a problem.
So the big question will be when to add it. I was thinking july 20th. That gives us 2 weeks to let everyone know that the PL will be turned on. Adding the PL will be easy enough. I will just change the channel setting on the repeater from 1 to 2 and the PL will be there.
