This morning I’ll be bringing the new Yaesu DR-2X repeater on site in preparation for setup and testing. It looks like a smart unit capable of both analog and digital operation and it is dual band capable. The Board hasn’t met yet to decide if we will apply for a UHF call and frequency pair. For now it’s all about getting the current repeater swapped out and the new one on the air. A big thanks again to all of those who generously contributed to making this upgrade possible. More to come as it develops.
