Argonne Sustainability Program Manger Devin Hodge guided a tour for members of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) on March 19 during a visit to Argonne National Laboratory. The tour included stops at Argonne’s 95 kW solar array, 10 kW wind turbine and 4 kW solar-powered electric vehicle charging station. Argonne’s alternative energy infrastructure, including geothermal heating and cooling, saves $14,800 and 161 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually.
