Welcome Marek!

Marek Piechowicz has joined the Separation Science group as a staff scientist. Marek’s previous research focused on studying the fundamental interactions of the transactinide elements with amidoxime functionalized ligands and the development of new porous polymer materials for heavy-metal separations, with a particular interest on the design and synthesis of environmentally benign materials for water purification.
