Derrick Combs has joined Heavy Elements group as a SULI student for the summer. He has a BS in Chemistry (Spring 2022) from Valparaiso University and is interested in pursuing a career in the chemical industry. He is most interested in powder X-Ray diffraction, electrochemistry, and separations science. When he is not working at the lab he likes to ride his bike and play video games with friends.
