02.01.25 Multivalent and Complex Ions at Charged Interfaces
Ions at charged interfaces are fundamental to a wide range of phenomena, from biology to industry. Although a relatively better understanding of point-like monovalent ions exists, our knowledge on multivalent and complex ions at aqueous interfaces is still very limited. This session aims to bring experimental and theoretical experts together to discuss the recent developments in the field including but not limited to ion-ion correlations, ion-amphiphile interactions, and ion transport at charged interfaces with a focus on multivalent ions.
