Karen, Alex, and Cong Liu (CSE Catalysis) have been awarded in the BES Clean Energy and Low-Carbon Manufacturing Initiative! Their program, titled “Molecularly Defined Multi-Metal Clusters for Solar Energy Conversion” will investigate new solution- and vapor-phase synthesis approaches to obtaining well-defined, bio-inspired metal-chalcogenide clusters. With new bio-inspired clusters in hand, the team will work to understand their photochemistry and photocatalysis relevant to artificial photosynthesis.
