Is your student a female 8th grader who loves science, technology, engineering, arts, and/or mathematics (STEAM)? Then a future career in STEAM might be for her! Attend Argonne National Laboratory’s Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) and find out.

What is Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED)?

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) is a diversity outreach program designed to provide young students with an opportunity to learn about science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) careers.

Students will enjoy motivational presentations, tour Argonne facilities, connect with a mentor, and participate in large and small group activities that provide opportunities to learn about a number of STEAM careers.
