Last Thursday at lunch several of us met on the roof of the repeater site to take down the mast and antenna that were given to us by the Lab ( Derek Steinkamp ). Bob McComb is looking into making a new mounting assembly which will be mounted to the outside wall near where we removed the old mast and allow us to tilt down the mast for installation of the new antenna and for maintenance of that antenna. We will move the feed line from the old antenna and reroute it to the new location when all is in place to minimize the repeater down time. We will make an announcement before that happens.
