Good-Bye Dick Konecny After 50 Years… But Hurry Back!!

Last week marked the retirement, after 50 years at Argonne, of our good friend and board member, Dick Konecny.   Dick has been with the club much longer than I have been and has always been a very active member and his contributions will be missed.  He has served as the Repeater Trustee and as such has worked hard to keep the repeater up to date and on the air.  He was instrumental in the decision to update the old repeater, in the choice on it’s replacement, and later in it’s speedy repair when needed.  I hope he decides to go the Argonne way and return as an STA so he can remain active in the club.
