This afternoon at lunch time several of us, Tim Szymanski – KC9POS, Rich Vitt – N9KKF, Bob McComb – N9MBR and myself, successfully put the new repeater on line and interfaced the Echolink computer to it. We will be monitoring it in the coming weeks to make sure it’s operating as expected. It took took a lot longer than expected to get this accomplished but we wanted to make sure it was setup properly before we switched it on. The old repeater and Echolink interface remain in the repeater rack and ready to be swapped back into service if ever needed. A special thanks to Tim – KC9POS for all his efforts in making the cable and configuring the interface for the Echolink service. And once again a grateful thanks to all of you who contributed the funds to make this upgrade possible! We are now looking forward to many more years of service for the W9ANL repeater!
