Argonne’s Summer Coding Camp for High School Students
Coding is fast becoming one of the most popular and engaging ways for young people to explore new ways of thinking and creativity. Argonne National Laboratory is hosting a five-day workshop for high school students where they will have the opportunity to learn coding from some of Argonne’s brightest computer scientists.
Students will have the opportunity to delve into coding and computational thinking in an engaging environment that will allow them to work together to solve problems and explore potential careers in this growing field. There will be many hands-on components including programming robots!
The camp is free of charge, and no prior coding experience is required.
Enrollment is limited to 30 students, and students must complete an online application by June 30, 2016.

To participate in the summer coding camp, participants must:
- Be high school students
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Be available to participate in the full five-day program
- Have transportation to the lab
