“Amphiphile/oil mixtures are commonly used in liquid-liquid extraction and other applications, but their solution structure is poorly understood. The morphologies of those mixtures were investigated with small angle X-ray scattering and molecular dynamics simulation, revealing that they are controlled by the combinations of aliphatic tail lengths present in the amphiphile molecules.”
