Lin and her team have a new paper in Nature! This work reveals the interplay between the dynamics of electron spin and the vibrational dynamics of the nuclei in molecules on superfast time scales using ultrashort laser pulses (7 fs!) to track the motion of nuclei and electrons in real time.
