Lin has been recognized as PSE’s Employee of the Month! This recognition acknowledges Lin’s commitment to Argonne’s Core Value of Impact, specifically for leading a large team whose recent work used ultrashort laser pulses to reveal the close relationship between electron and nuclear dynamics, challenging the Born-Oppenheimer approximation of quantum mechanics. The work could impact molecular design in solar energy conversion, energy production and quantum information science. The results were recently published in Nature and Angewandte Chemie International Edition.
