Steering Committee Selection
An Office of the Director representative serves as chairperson with membership open to anyone at the laboratory who understands the value of women thriving in a STEM workforce, including male allies. Periodically the WIST PI issues a call for membership from the scientific, technical and professional staff of the Programmatic and Operations Directorates. To carry forward the WIST mission, committee members work closely with the WPI and other steering committee representatives from Argonne management.
Join a WIST subcommittee
WIST has two subcommittees, each focusing on specific aspects of the WIST mission and scope. These include:
- In-Reach Subcommittee
- Outreach Subcommittee
Everyone at the laboratory is welcome to join one or more subcommittees or to support individual events or initiatives led by the subcommittees.
